Policies

1) Return Policy

The standard policy for parts sales is that they are final sales and returns are not accepted; however, certain items may be returned with prior RMA approval. To obtain prior approval, you must contact our service department prior to ordering and discuss the machine issue you are having. The service department will then determine if the item may resolve your issue and provide pre-approval for an RMA, should the need arise; this pre-approval will be noted on your invoice. If the item does not resolve your issue, you can contact us for an RMA form that you will print out and return with the unit. It is advised to notify us as soon as possible if the item needs to be returned as items returned under an RMA must be received by CNC Technical Services within 15 days from date of purchase. Please also note that any item returned under an RMA will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Under no circumstances will we allow returns for the following:

* The item did not resolve your issue, and you did NOT obtain prior RMA approval

* Custom orders; parts that are non-inventory and custom ordered are not returnable

* Standard items ordered from our vendors if they do not accept returns

2) Warranty Policy

The warranty period of an item is dependent on the type and classification of an item but will be stipulated on a quote and/or invoice. Any warranty for an item will cover the parts and labor to repair the item. If you need to submit a warranty claim, simply contact us and we will provide an RMA to return the item under warranty for repair. You will be responsible for shipping the unit to us; once repaired, we will cover the return shipping costs (NOTE: items are shipped back UPS ground delivery; if you request faster delivery service, we will send a quote for such service, less the cost of ground delivery). All warranty repairs will be handled as top priority and we will do everything possible to deliver the quickest turnaround possible. In certain circumstances, we may be able to offer an exchange unit under warranty, but this will be on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability.

3) Core Return Policy

When a unit is purchased as an exchange unit, your core unit is required or a core charge will be assessed. Core charges are typically invoiced at time of sale and a credit equal to the core charge will be applied to your account provided the core unit is returned within 15 days from the date of invoice and deemed repairable to refurbished condition. In some cases, the core charge is not invoiced up front but will be assessed if your core is not received within 15 days from the date of invoice and is deemed repairable to refurbished condition.

PLEASE NOTE: If your core unit arrives after 15 days but less than 30 days and is deemed repairable, we will credit back the core charge less 10% for arriving late. If the core unit is NOT RECEIVED within 30 days, THERE IS NO CORE CREDIT GIVEN. Also note that if you have any concern as to whether your core unit will be repairable or not, we highly recommend that you send your core unit in before we send the exchange unit out. If you choose to do this, we can send the exchange unit the same day and match any switch settings, swap software, etc. on the exchange unit to your original unit, which will make installation easier for you when the exchange unit arrives.

All core units must be accompanied by an RMA form; we will provide this to you shortly after completing the sale of the exchange unit. It is imperative that you send your core unit to our repair facility's address shown on the form as failure to do so may result in additional shipping charges if unit is received at one of our other locations.

4) Evaluation Fee Policy

If any unit sent in for repair is quoted and the repair is declined by the customer, there will be a standard evaluation charge of $150.00 (this fee is waived if the repair is performed). Please note that depending on the evaluation required to properly assess the repair, the unit may be partially disassembled and may be sent back in such condition.
